Elbow pasta with cinnamon, vanilla and orange

  • 300g Monte Banato elbow dessert pasta
  • 1l milk
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • fresh orange zest
  • mascarpone
  • salt
  • roasted almonds
Method

Step 1: Boil the pasta in a pot with milk and a teaspoon of salt.
Step 2: Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla essence, vanilla powder and orange zest and let it simmer.
Step 3: After a few minutes, add a tablespoon of mascarpone and boil the composition on low heat until the milk reaches a high viscosity.
Step 4: Serve on a plate and top with mascarpone, roasted almonds and orange zest.
